Contract position working on the new Nitro Pro 7 website. Created a jQuery plugin for tabbed content and a new theme for Nitro's Wordpress blog. HTML5/CSS3 and Google Maps API development on an ASP.NET platform.

Biolog Inc. Website Redesign

Web Developer: HTML5/CSS3/jQuery Front-End, PHP/MySQL Backend

Redesign of the Biolog Inc. website using PHP and MySQL, HTML5 and CSS3 with jQuery for animations. I designed the MySQL backend database for the Products application and developed a flexible Front-End interface to accommodate static and database-driven content. Developed a jQuery script to animate multiple additional sections without adding additional javascript.

Programmed in PHP a script to read, display and search a local filesystem of Certificates of Analysis documents.

Type 3 Registry Redesign

HTML5/CSS3/Canvas Web Application Development

Redesign of the Type 3 Registry website using HTML 5, CSS3 and the <canvas> element. Developed a functional cross-browser canvas application utilizing JSON and jQuery.

Created custom CSS and HTML to develop the new Gulf Coast Cycling Association Website on the Squarespace Platform (squarespace.com).

PRIMARQ

HTML/CSS/DOM Developer on the Squarespace Platform

Developed CSS and custom HTML to code and style the new primarq.com website using the Squarespace Platform. Fixed Bid contract with Cool Martian to develop the website for their client: PRIMARQ - an exchange for investing in owner-occupied real estate.

Lead programmer in the Applications Group designing, developing and implementing web applications to support multiple business groups at Applied Biosystems. Designed and developed applications for Marketing and Content teams using ColdFusion and Oracle.

Managed development of critical reporting features using the Salesforce API for the Sales Organization. Managed & coded bi-weekly builds for appliedbiosystems.com website, and was responsible for the AB web template performance on all supported browsers and systems (AB Infrastructure and external vendors hosting AB applications).

• Salesforce Quotation Project

  Developed and designed metrics reports for a Salesforce enhancement project. Project provided Sales Associates the ability to create quotes directly using the Salesforce API. Implemented a Salesforce application that enabled Sales Managers to create detailed reports on their direct reports sales quotations. System was designed to interface with the external database system and AB's SAP system using WSDLs and WebMethods for report selection criteria and data.

• Oracle Stellent CMS Project

  Served as the technical and subject matter expert on the Content Management System project to improve content management productivity and content quality. Held dual roles:

  1. Manage relationship with Stellent Consultant developers, compiling and creating best practices and coding standards on the CMS platform
  2. Worked with program management and leads to create plans and schedule related to legacy areas, including conversion, reimplementation or retirement if applicable.

• Portal Redesign with Deloitte Consulting

  Lead developer from Applied Biosystems on the Portal Project, a multi-million dollar collaboration with Deloitte Consulting and Hewlett-Packard to build a comprehensive life sciences portal with a catalog, eCommerce and configuration capabilities. Managed integration with the Portal for all non-outsourced platforms and re-engineered the new template for use on external and internal websites.

• Search Project

  Developed search functionality for the Applied Biosystems website using Oracle Text (now called UltraSearch) to provide search for the catalog databases and internal and external static content. Optimized queries for relevance on search terms and developed functionality to provide optimum placement of highlighted AB Products.
